International Thespian Society - The International Thespian Society (ITS) is the Educational Theatre Association’s student honorary organization. It recognizes the achievements of theatre students. Since 1929, EdTA has inducted more than 2 million Thespians. That number continues to grow, with more than 36,000 students from around the country being inducted each year. The mission is to provide students with an additional incentive ways to choose theatre arts over other curricular and extracurricular outlets and help the theatre department recruit talented and dedicated students.
